Diablo Immortal Adding More Storage Options, New Essence Transfer Gear Preview, and Returning Events
Diablo Immortal delivers on promises for even more storage and more new features, along with returning events in this week’s new update.
The update will go live across regions in full by Wednesday, with downtime beginning tomorrow, January 3rd, from 4-6PM PST in Oceania, China, East and Southeast Asia and Europe. Downtime for the Americas will happen Wednesday, January 4th from 12-2AM PST. Once the update is live, there are several limited time events returning, and several feature updates.
For those who have been patiently waiting, if you are using the Boon of Plenty, you'll get an additional Stash tab. Access to the additional tab and your items will continue as long as your Boon is active. If you decide to cancel paying for the bonus perks, you’ll have 30 days to grab your items from that Stash. This addition does technically add more storage, but it does come with a paywall, so there are definitely going to be some who dislike this way of doing things.
Additional feature updates include Essence Transfer when you change gear. Will be able to preview what you are transferring to the new item in advance and you'll have access to this new preview feature if you have already unlocked Essence Transfer. with this change, you'll be able to switch to better gear when you earn it, even if it doesn't have perfectly suitable stats. this should help you have better items and also not have to visit the vendor for tweaks as often.
The team has also improved Battlegrounds ranks. Changes are aimed at helping players rank up faster. Even if you lose a match while in Bronze rank, you’ll still get some points.
Returning events that will open this month include Trials of the Warrior, Hungering Moon, Trial of the Hordes, Wild Brawl,
