Mythic+ Hotfix on the Weekly Reset - Soulbound Goliath Nerfed
One of the most oppressive Tyrannical bosses, the Soulbound Goliath, has been nerfed on the Weekly Reset.
On the weekly reset, Soul Thorns on the Soulbound Goliath fight in Waycrest Manor have been nerfed.
As seen in this log, a +20 Tyrannical Soul Thorns now has 1.42M health. Last week in this log, a +20 Fortified Soul Thorns had 1.71M health.
The scaling issue for Soul Thorns scaling with Fortified was fixed on December 18th and so accounting for 30% more health on Tyrannical and finding the difference, this works out to be about 35%.
This boss was so deadly that players were starting to zone out of the key before this encounter, equipping a PvP trinket to use if they were stunned, then zoning back out after defeating the boss and putting on their real trinkets.
