Reverse: 1999 is dropping its Version 1.8 update, ‘Farewell, Rayashiki,’ on August 15th, 2024. Yes, you’ll get to dive into the lives of new characters and much more in just two days from today. Keep reading to find out every detail!
For new story content, the ‘Farewell, Rayashiki’ main event kicks off on August 15th and runs until September 16th. Its Hard mode unlocks on August 22nd, with rewards like Clear Drops and Cornerstone. Complete the first chapter of the main story by August 15th to snag Gift of the Stars, which includes 600 Clear Drops and 5 Picrasma Candy.
There’s plenty of other new content in Reverse: 1999 Version 1.8. Journey to North will run in two parts, offering seven free Unilogs. The first part is from August 15th to August 29th and the second part is from August 29th to September 19th.
First, let’s talk about the two new characters. Vila and Windsong are the two new Arcanists in Reverse: 1999 Version 1.8 update. Vila is the 6-star Arcanist from the Plant Afflatus. She’s a powerhouse support character who can heal, purify negative statuses and provide significant damage buffs.
The Vila Banner, ‘Ode to the Utopia,’ will be live from August 15th to August 29th. It’s your chance to snag 6-star Vila and 5-star Avgust from the Plant Afflatus with boosted drop rates.
Then the Windsong Banner, ‘The Intersecting Lines,’ will run from August 29th to September 19th. This banner highlights the 6-star Arcanist Windsong from the Star Afflatus, plus 5-star Sweetheart of the Beast Afflatus and 5-star Blonney of the Star Afflatus will also have increased drop rates.
Finally, the rerun banner for Spathodea and Shamane, ‘Yearning of the Water’ will be available from September 1st to September 14th. It features 6-star Shamane and 6-star Spathodea. Catch a glimpse of the action in the trailer below!
