Do you know Alien: Isolation, the survival horror game developed by Creative Assembly? Well, I’ve got some good news about it. The game, which was first released in December 2021, has dropped a much-needed update. It’s the ‘Try Before You Buy’ option for Alien: Isolation on Android.
In Alien: Isolation, you play as Amanda Ripley. Your mom, the legendary astronaut Ellen Ripley, never made it back home. It’s been 15 years, and now, you find out that the flight recorder from her doomed ship has surfaced at Sevastopol Station.
So, you board the station, thinking you’ll get some closure. But instead, you’re introduced to a cunning, relentless Xenomorph that treats you like its personal prey. And that starts your actual journey in the game. You’re unprepared, underequipped and constantly wondering if the Alien is around the next corner.
Survival is the aim, and you’ll find yourself crawling through ventilation ducts, hiding in lockers and scavenging for snacks. You try to find any scrap to craft makeshift weapons and distractions to keep that alien off your back.
With the new Try Before You Buy update, you get to try the first two missions in Alien: Isolation absolutely for free. It’ll give you just the right amount of taste of the survival horror game. And if you’re hooked, you can unlock the entire game, plus all its seven DLCs, for $13.49.
