Myth of Empires developer Angela Game and publisher Imperium Interactive Entertainment are giving players a first look at the game’s Persia DLC, the next civilization to be added since the game released its 1.0 update earlier this year.
The developer aims to add even more value to its Persia DLC pack when compared to the previously released Hellenic Civilization Pack, with not only new equipment, tools, weapons, and gameplay, but also a brand new map included with the package.
The Persian map is a significant departure from the “lush green” and “alluring blue” of Zhongzhou continent and island, respectively. The arid desert location is absent any reliable sources of water and is continuously hammered by violent sandstorms.
Players will need to use wind and fire to generate energy and have access to gunpowder-based items.
The Steam dev diary offers some additional screenshots to view, but the full DLC drop isn’t far away, with an expected release date of sometime before the year is out.
Myth of Empires is a multiplayer war sandbox available now on Steam. The first post-launch civilization, the Hellenic Civilization Pack, is also available and adds 12 new armor sets, 15 special weapons, a full set of new building recipes, and more.
