Now that the full game is out, fans will get to see what changes have been made in the Resident Evil 4 remake when compared to the original classic release. While it seems as though it will appeal to those looking for a dose of nostalgia, Capcom has a knack for truly modernizing the titles in its influential survival horror series. Of course, there's always room for improvement, and modders have not wasted any time in making sure people can get the most out of RE4.
Some Resident Evil 4 Fans Get to Play the Remake Early
As spotted by DSO Gaming, there's already a way to make the Resident Evil 4 remake look even more fantastic, thanks to a mod that supports even more upscaling. A video posted to the McBenchmarkPC YouTube channel shows it in action, comparing Native TAA and AMD's FSR 2.1 tech to version 3.1 of Nvidia's DLSS algorithm. The graphical purists who play games will notice a difference, with the upscaler helping to fine tune the visuals. The video shows how the game is able to run at 1440p on max settings. The «Reframework» modification comes from Nexus Mods user praydog, though anyone interested will need a few more files to get DLSS working in RE4, which are specified in the mod description.
