Remnant II will receive its third and final piece of premium DLC on 24th September, alongside a major free update for the game. The Dark Horizon offers a new storyline to explore, dungeons to delve into, powerful new gear to gather, and a new Archetype, The Warden. In addition, a Boss Rush mode will be added via the content update.
A new glider traversal system will allow players to travel in style, exploring alien farmlands tended by robots for masters who have long since perished. In keeping with this more technological setting, The Warden archetype can deploy an automated drone, which can shield and heal allies or attack enemies as required. Remnant II's previous expansions, The Forgotten Kingdom and The Awakened, are all available and frequently on sale, so if you've been holding off on this one, perhaps it's time to jump in.
