As you may have heard, it was recently announced that Redfall will only run at 30fps on Xbox Series X/S consoles at launch (a decision that was seemingly made just recently). This is a bit perplexing, as the game isn’t really a great looker, and if you were hoping for some hint as to why the XSX can’t handle Redfall at 60fps the game's PC requirements aren't a great help.
Bethesda and Arkane have revealed the full PC requirements for Redfall, and they’re not overly demanding. The Recommended specs only require a Radeon RX 5700 or GeForce RTX 2080, and the highest Ultra specs call for Radeon RX 6800 XT or a GeForce RTX 3080. Really, the only major standout is RAM – even the Minimum requirements call for 16 GB and Ultra requires 32 GB. Perhaps Arkane’s inexperience with open-world games means they’re just using memory really inefficiently?
Here are the full range of Redfall PC requirements:

Here’s hoping Redfall performs alright on PC, although it is an Unreal Engine 4 title, and Wccftech’s Alessio Palumbo noted some hitches during his pre-release hands-on time.
Redfall’s suite of accessibility features have also been detailed. These include four difficulty settings, a wide array of visual and control settings, full menu narration, and more. You can get more details here.
