Rebirth Feature Potentially Coming to Diablo 4
It's no secret that players get attached to their characters. Whether you're a one-and-only main player or an altoholic, every character has its own story: its epic victories, crushing defeats, and tales of valor and glory that live fondly in any players' memory.
That makes it even harder, then, to give up that character — particularly in a Seasonal game where the very nature of play means starting over again and again. Diablo 3 featured a mechanic called Rebirth, which allowed those characters to continue on — starting a Season with a Rebirthed character allowed you to take a Non-Seasonal character and convert them, resetting their level, gear, and progression, but allowing their legacy to continue on.
Diablo 4 currently has no such feature — but potentially not for long! Diablo Community Lead Adam Fletcher weighed in on the possibility of Rebirth for Diablo 4 on Twitter: It's clear that players are clamoring for Rebirth — and Blizzard has heard their cries!
