The official trailer for the upcoming second season of the Netflix hit series Raising Dion has been released. The first season of the sci-fi series saw single mother Nicole Warren (Alisha Wainwright) grieve the unexpected loss of her husband, BIONA scientist Mark (Michael B. Jordan), tragically killed during an intense storm. Following the passing of his father, the title character, played by Ja'Siah Young, began to develop unique superpowers as the series follows Dion learning how to use and control said abilities. At the same time, the electric Crooked Man inches closer and closer to Dion's final fate, or so the villain thought.
Courtesy of Netflix, the action-packed trailer for the second season of Raising Dion is officially here, complete with a February 1 release date. The first look at the upcoming season reveals that even though Dion thought that he had defeated the Crooked Man, the electrified villain isn't done with the aspiring kid-hero just yet. The trailer sees that two years have passed since audiences last saw the title character, who is now focused on training his superpowers at BIONA. A new student at Dion's school seems to have a hidden agenda blueprinted by the Crooked Man himself, who relies on a zombie army to help him defeat the powerful kid-hero. Check out the trailer below:
