Dying Light 2 is filled with hours upon hours of side quests for players to complete across Villedor, but "The Ultimate Weapon" has to be one of the more infuriating quests to complete. With the promise of rewarding Aiden with the ultimate weapon, a Monk living among the Survivors entices players with tales of a powerful weapon in Dying Light 2. For the price of 200 Old World Money, the Monk sends Aiden off on a side quest to travel across several rooftops to find the ultimate weapon.
Before players can even speak with the Monk, they'll have to complete the jumping Windmill Puzzle in Dying Light 2 that is located in the northwest area of Horseshoe. Once the Willow Windmill power has been restored and the Survivors have constructed a safe area, the Monk will be located beside the cabbage garden. Initially, he'll charge Aiden all of the Old World Money that players have collected, but Aiden's harsh tone quickly works the Monk's price down to the 200 Old World Money mentioned above.

Once Aiden accepts the side quest, he'll be tasked with searching through two chests that are within 300m of the Monk's location. Reaching both of these chests requires a serious amount of parkour skills and stamina, so this side quest may best be saved for a postgame activity in Dying Light 2 once players have completed the main story. The Monk assures Aiden that one of the chests has the ultimate weapon inside of it, but he can't recall which chest is the correct one. One of these chests is located on top of the building that is Jack and Joe's Bandit Camp, while the other is atop of the Viaduct in the area.
