Techland stated before Dying Light 2's release that it would support the game for 5 years after it came out. It seems as though the company is staying true to this, as yet another Dying Light 2 update has been rolled out that has added a useful new feature.
Dying Light 2 did not release in a perfect state, as the game had its fair share of glitches and bugs that hampered some players' experience. This is what caused Techland to release Dying Light 2 with a day one patch. Thankfully, the day one patch ironed out many of the serious issues that players were experiencing, while Techland continued to work on further improvements and fixes.
Dying Light 2 Features Force Choke Ability Easter Egg
Techland then released update 1.04 for Dying Light 2, which included fixes for more game crashes, corpse replication in co-op multiplayer, an issue causing players to not be able to sell valuables to vendors, AMD related GPU artifacting, and it also improved support for mouse rebinding.
Techland recently released another update that is said to fix the game's death-loop issues, audio issues on PS4, fast travel after completing the main story, and the update also added improvements related to stability across the board. A new feature was also added in the update that allows players to roll their progress back to the last working story save point. This will be especially useful if players lose a valuable item, encounter a bug that does not allow them to progress, or make a decision in the story mode that they are unhappy with.
While the game experienced some game-breaking bugs and glitches, it also featured some strange bugs that broke players' immersion. One example of this is when a Dying Light 2 chase sequence triggers in broad daylight.
