Techland has released a major Dying Light 2 update for console platforms.
The update (see full patch notes below), which features a lengthy list of fixes and improvements for both PlayStation and Xbox systems, is largely similar to the latest PC patch released on Wednesday.
Headlining the update are story progression fixes, including the elimination of all known cases of players getting stuck in infinite death loops, Techland claims.
There are also various co-op fixes for issues including crashes, black screens and difficulties accepting invites, while paraglider and grappling hook upgrades can now be applied correctly.
Improvements have been made to combat, including enemy behaviours and weapon performance, as well UI/UX, the final boss fight and other parts of the game.
Xbox specific features included in the update are a new Balanced Mode that runs in 60 FPS for Xbox Series X, and the addition of Xbox Series S game modes including Performance Mode that runs in 60 FPS.
Earlier this week, Techland released a next-gen patch for the original Dying Light, improving the performance of the 2015 release when played on newer consoles.
