Indian electronics manufacturer Lava has brought an entry-level affordable smartphone to expand its X series lineup. The company has launched Lava X2 for the Indian market and it is priced at under Rs. 10,000. Lava X2 packs HD+ display, MediaTek processor, and 5000 mAh battery. The smartphone will take on Samsung Galaxy A03, Poco M3, Vivo Y12s, Tecno Pop 5 LTE, and a few others in the smartphones under 10000 category. The Lava X2 features a 6.5 HD+ IPS screen with 20:9 aspect ratio which is 192 grams in weight. Powered by the Helio octa-core MediaTek processor under the hood, Lava X2 is paired with 2GB of RAM. For memory, the smartphone comes with 32GB internal storage which can be further expanded by adding a microSD card. It runs on the Android 11 Go edition which is backed by a 5000mAh battery. Lava X2 supports dual SIM card option. It boasts a dual camera setup featuring an 8MP main camera with f/2.0 and another unknown camera lens, while in front, it has a 5MP camera for selfies with f/2.2. For video recording, it supports up to the 1080p option along with LED flash. It comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB-C port.
