The iQOO Z6 is now the most affordable smartphone using the Snapdragon 695 chip in India! Beating the Vivo T1 5G, the iQOO Z6 5G comes in at an introductory price of Rs. 13,999 for its base 4GB/128GB variant. The phone seems to be largely based on the Vivo T1 5G with a couple of minor differences. Note that the iQOO Z6 is not a successor to the iQOO Z5, which still sits in a higher segment.
The iQOO Z5 comes in three storage variants at launch. The iQOO Z6 price in India starts at Rs. 15,999 for the base 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. There is also a 6GB variant at Rs. 16,999, while the top-of-the-line 8GB variant comes in at Rs. 17,999. All the variants come with 128GB storage as standard. iQOO is offering the phone in two colour variants — Chromatic Blue and Dynamo Black. The phone will be available for purchase through Amazon and iQOO India eStore starting March 22.
The iQOO Z6 is one of the few budget smartphone at the moment to come with Android 12 out of the box, although underneath the FunTouchOS 12 skin. The phone features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and touch response rate of 240Hz. The star feature here is the Snapdragon 695 chip that is paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Only the Vivo T1 and the Motorola Moto G71 5G use this Snapdragon 695 chip in the sub- ₹20,000 smartphone space.
The rest of the features aren’t as lofty as iQOO’s other phones but considering the price, the phone seems to be a decent pick. The rear camera setup consist of a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor for the main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP bokeh camera. The front camera is using a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 lens.
All of this is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W
