Oppo F21 Pro series is coming to India! Yes, the Pro series, which means we could see a F21 Pro 4G and a F21 Pro 5G variant. And based on the teaser shared by Oppo, it seems Oppo will simply bring it as the renamed version of the Oppo Reno 7 4G that made its global debut just recently. If prices are anything on line with last year's F series models, these phones could put the recently launched iPhone SE 3 and iQOO 9 SE to shame with its design.
The F21 Pro series will launch on April 12, 2022. The highlight this year seems to be its design, which Oppo has talked about in great depth in a separate media note. Oppo is using a new finish on the phone, in what it calls “industry-first Fibreglass-Leather design”. Oppo says it doubles as a ‘frameless’ battery cover to make the phone thin, light and durable. Oppo engineers had apparently chosen lychee-grain leather for the base material for its plush feel.
The lychee grain leather material is also said to be waterproof and also wear-resistant. Hence, it should be able to brave the tough Indian conditions easily. Note that this vegan leather finish is available only on the phone's Sunset Orange colour variant.
There is also a Cosmic Black variant of the F21 Pro that uses the same Oppo Glow technology from the Reno series. Oppo says it makes the back cover look glossy while giving it a matte-in-hand feel that is fingerprint- and stain-resistant.
Oppo hasn't shared any images of the F21 Pro 5G but reveals the colour variants. The phones will be available in Rainbow Spectrum and Cosmic Black colours. Now these are the same colours found the recently launched Oppo Reno 7Z in global markets. This means the F21 Pro 5G could share its features and specs with the Reno 7Z. This one could be
