Samsung Galaxy A53 and Samsung Galaxy A33 are here! On Thursday evening, Samsung hosted a virtual live event to unveil the new Samsung Galaxy A series smartphones as well as its new range of laptops called Galaxy Books. The Galaxy A series is the midrange series of Samsung’s Galaxy lineup. With iPhone SE 3 just launching last week, Samsung is keeping a lot of focus on its A series smartphones. The smartphones have a heavy focus on camera and computational photography through new AI performance as well as new features to keep up with the trend. Samsung Galaxy A33 features a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone sports a quad rear camera setup with 48MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12MP ultra wide camera, a 5MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. It is equipped with Exynos 1280 processor with a max clock speed of 2.4Ghz.
The smartphone is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. It has an IP67 water resistance and Samsung Knox security. Samsung Galaxy A33 also supports 5G connectivity. The smartphone runs on One UI 4.1 out of the box which is based on Android 12.
The smartphone will be available in two RAM variants of 6GB and 8GB as well as two internal storage variants of 128GB and 256GB.
