Director James Gunn recently shared new Peacemaker set images to celebrate the show's release in the UK. Serving as a spinoff of Gunn's popular DCEU entry The Suicide Squad, the HBO series follows Christopher Smith, aka Peacemaker (John Cena), as he and the 11th Street Kids attempt to stop an alien invasion by the Butterflies. The series proved very popular on HBO and, and a Peacemaker season 2 has already been confirmed, with Gunn set to write and direct all episodes.
Although Peacemaker began streaming on HBO on January 13, 2022, the show was not released worldwide at the same time. Earlier this month, Gunn took to Twitter to announce that Peacemaker will finally air in the UK after previously being unavailable. The entirety of the Peacemaker series landed on the Sky Max channel as well as the Sky's streaming service, Now TV, on March 22.

In front of Cena lies a dead man with the hero's dove-adorned shield impaled in the man's head.
