Marvel Studios might already be setting up Guardians of the Galaxy 4 in Phase 5 through its Nova plans. The Marvel Cinematic Universe launched its first true cosmic franchise in 2014 with Guardians of the Galaxy. The movie brought Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot together to protect the galaxy. However, since then, the MCU hasn't explored the cosmos as much as expected.
