Indie developer TeamKill Media has been talking up its upcoming cosmic horror shooter Quantum Error for a while now, and though the wait for its release date announcement will continue just a tad longer, other details on the game are continuing to be filtered out.
The newest tidbit shared by the developer is certainly pleasing news. TeamKill Media has confirmed in a tweet that Quantum Error won’t feature any items or content that will be exclusive to any platform (which some may have feared, given that it’s launching as a PlayStation exclusive).
The developer also confirms there will be no microtransactions, and that the game will be a “full, complete” product right at launch. Sure, most of those are the bare minimums, but there’s no shortage of examples of games failing to clear even that low bar, so that’s definitely good news for those looking forward to TeamKill Media’s horror shooter.
Quantum Error recently went gold, and is set to launch sometime this year for PS5 (with a PS4 version having been recently cancelled). PC and Xbox Series X/S versions are also in the works.
