Quantum Error is a cosmic horror game on the docket for PS5 (recently doing away with the PS4 version), and we've been keeping an eye on it for a while now. Its intriguing setup (firefighters sent to help survivors of a research facility in lockdown encounter an interdimensional entity), along with some meaty-looking gunplay, has us hoping for word of a release date soon.
The developer, TeamKill Media, has been saying the kinds of things gamers like to hear over on X and making no bones about it:
The first horror game confirmed for PS5, Quantum Error's been cooking for a while now, first revealed back at the start of 2020. At least back then, inspirations cited include DOOM 3 or Dead Space but in first person, aiming to «be a slower paced FPS trickled with a variety of mechanics that revolve around the main character’s skills as a firefighter.”
