Sony will launch the new PlayStation 5 Slim console in the United Kingdom on November 29.
Pre-orders for the console are now live via its PlayStation Direct website as well as various retailers, some of which we’ve listed below.
The new PS5 model debuted in the US earlier this month and is in the process of being rolled out across other regions.
Like the launch model, the new PS5 is available in the form of a standard edition featuring a disc drive and a Digital Edition without one.
However, unlike with the current model, those who purchase the new PS5 Digital Edition can also purchase an attachable Blu-ray disc drive, which is being sold separately for $79.99 / €119.99 / £99.99.
The new PS5 also requires a $30 / €30 / £25 stand if users want to position the console upright.
Sony’s Black Friday promotion started last week. It includes offers on hardware, games and subscriptions across PlayStation Store, PlayStation Direct, PlayStation Gear and participating retailers.
The sale is running until November 27 and discounts vary by region and retailer, so it’s always worth comparing prices before making a purchase.
Players signing up to PlayStation Plus Essential can now save 20% on a 12-month membership plan. Current members can save 25% when upgrading to PlayStation Plus Extra, or 30% when upgrading to PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe.
