When going to open their daily pack of digital Pokémon cards from the app, one player pulled four extremely rare cards at once. The combination of cards from the coveted rare card pack included two Articuno, Venusaur, Dragonite, and Mewtwo cards, with both Articunos being extremely rare rainbow cards. Other players immediately proclaimed that those four cards may never be seen in the same pack again.
Redditor Ooooooo0ool posted a picture of his rare cards to the subreddit to celebrate the unique find. The first comment under the post labeled Ooooooo0ool's pack a «God Pack» and heaped praise upon the player's brilliant stroke of luck. Further cementing the unlikely nature of their find, Ooooooo0ool revealed in his post that it was just his second day playing on the Pokémon TCG Pocket app.
It's hard to fathom that such a lucky pull can happen for a player on day two of using the app, and Ooooooo0ool would agree, stating their yearly fill of luck was used up to obtain this pack of extremely rare Pokémon cards. Another Redditor commented on the post, saying that there was just a 0.05% chance of getting all those cards at once. The odds that anyone would pull just one extremely rare rainbow card, let alone two, are slim, but to obtain a rare pack is a statistical miracle.
No card in this rare pack was rated below three diamonds, meaning the lowest-rated card in this pack would be bound to show up as a special card in other packs. In comparison, the Mewtwo card had a two-star rating, meaning that it would, at best, have a 2% chance of being the fifth card in a pack.
The beginning of Pokémon TCG Pocket can be difficult, but by building one of these decks, even beginners can rival the strongest of players.
Other commenters in the Reddit thread agreed that Oooooo0ool's luck may have run out for the rest of the year, likeEvening_College2273, who said, «Sir, you've just used all of your luck until next year. Don't go outside.» Some showed off their own rare God pack finds, but
