There are so many Pokemon plushes that if you want to start collecting them now, you're best off picking a particular category and sticking to it. Whether it's a certain type, Pokemon from a specific region, or maybe even just Pikachu plushes - there's enough of them. A popular option is Pokemon's sleeping plushes, a growing category that features Pokemon in a sleepy state and recently got a few new additions including Cubone, Slowpoke, and Chikorita.
There are four new additions - the three listed above plus yet another Pikachu - but the Cubone one appears to have been the most popular so far. That might be because of the heartbreaking detail that becomes even harder to handle when you read the product's description on the Pokemon Center website. A closer look at the Sleeping Cubone and you'll see the toy has a tiny tear embroidered into the corner of its eye.

The aforementioned description gives an explanation for Cubone's tears. "Dozing on its side with a tear in its eye as it dreams of its mother," it reads. That alone is incredibly sad and will likely have you hitting "add to cart" at record speed so you can pick Cubone up and give it a cuddle. However, if you know Cubone's dark backstory, you'll know that this plush's description is somehow even sadder than it seems.
