Pokémon GO Tour Sinnoh: Global! event will be introducing new shinys

Fans of Pokémon GO have more than likely seen the many Tour events that developers Niantic hold across the globe. These events aim to celebrate past generations of Pokémon games by including limited-time events for everyone to enjoy. In the past, developers Niantic have showcased the Sinnoh region, Hoehn, and more. So let’s prepare, and take a look at the Pokémon GO Tour Sinnoh: Global! new shinies.

While the paid-only in-person event is taking place in Los Angeles from February 17-18, Pokémon GO Tour Sinnoh: Global will be live February 24-25 from 10 am to 6 pm local time each day. I’ll be taking a look at all the shiny Pokémon being added to the game before going into more detail about the overall event.

There are a total of five new shinies being added to Pokémon GO, all of which are from the Sinnoh region. All 5 of these Pokémon are obtained either through finding them in unique habitats, or in certain eggs. Of course, players are only able to find and hatch these Pokémon during the event, but that’s not all. Additionally, there will be new one-, three-, and five-star raids for players to discover during certain habitat hours. These raids introduce iconic Pokémon from the Sinnoh region and even give you the opportunity to catch their shiny variants if you’re unlike me and are lucky enough. And for trainers who want to spend some real money, there is a paid masterwork research ticket, allowing players to work their way to finding a shiny Shaymin.
