Pokemon Cafe Remix has revealed a new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet-themed event within the mobile spinoff, offering exclusive outfits and new Pokemon for players' cafes. The mobile puzzle game from The Pokemon Company and developer Genius Sonority has regularly added new content for players to add to their in-game cafes. A variety of popular and powerful Pokemon like Mewtwo and Latios have joined the lighthearted cafe puzzle game, alongside new events and exclusive cosmetics. Now, the game is gearing up for an event all about Pokemon's ninth generation of games.
While often overshadowed by Pokemon's more popular mobile games like Pokemon GO and Pokemon Unite, Pokemon Cafe Remix offers a more casual style of gameplay. Players are put in charge of a cafe, working alongside Pokemon to complete the game's puzzles and create food for their customer Pokemon. Progressing through the game allows players to recruit more Pokemon workers for their cafe, helping to create unique dishes and provide helpful effects when solving the game's puzzles. Now, a new event will add a new mechanic, outfits, and Pokemon to the game.
During Tuesday's Pokemon Presents broadcast, Pokemon Cafe Remix revealed its newest update, putting the focus on Scarlet and Violet newcomer Gimmighoul. Completing specific puzzles within Pokemon Cafe Remix will earn Gimmighoul Coins for the player, normally used to evolve Gimmighoul into Gholdengo in Scarlet and Violet. The update is also adding new outfits for the newest games' Starter trio, as well as introducing Koraidon and Miraidon to the mobile game for a limited time. Players can begin the event for the costumes and Koraidon immediately, with Miraidon coming later on March 14.
Pokemon Cafe Remix's new Scarlet and Violet event comes as one of several additions to Pokemon's mobile games revolving around the Paldea region. Pokemon Unite revealed a pair of Pokemon from Scarlet and Violet will be joining the game soon, with Miraidon and Ceruledge joining the MOBA.
