Although they're tied to a substory in Honolulu, the Photo Rally locations in will also take you to Rich Island for a brief detour. In case this is your first brush with this particular sidequest, Alo-Happy Tours' Photo Rally is exactly what it sounds like: a challenge that sends players to various locations around the map, both tourist destinations and hidden gems, and requires them to take pictures of certain places in order to earn stamps. Once he's filled each regional stamp book, Majima can return to Alo-Happy for a prize.
Returning from a similar substory, Photo Rally is a great way to get a new perspective on a familiar map. And since 's world is much larger than that of, it also has a much bigger list of Photo Rally locations. Thankfully, Rich Island is the shortest of all three Photo Rally stamp books, with just eight spots to visit around the isolated isle. (Compare that to Honolulu's 75 Photo Rally locations.) Here's where to find them.
For our first Photo Rally on Rich Island, you'll want to head to the Central Plaza, standing in the large open area between the Esperanza bar and the shack that serves as Majima's hideout. Standing right near the center of Rich Island, find the table in the southeast corner of this area with a discarded air conditioning unit on it, and look carefully under the tarp next to it.
Fan-favorite Goro Majima stars in Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, a thoroughly fun and unflinchingly self-indulgent romp that sometimes loses direction.
You'll see the head of an inflatable flamingo sticking out; take a photo of it for your first stamp. I found this a little difficult to see in daylight, so you may be better off looking for this one at night.
This one's easy, and right next door. Walk up to Bar Esperanza, and take a picture of the wooden sign with the windmill next to the main entrance. It's near the northwest side of the building, just past the barrel next to the stairs up to the bar's porch.
Stop by for some lumpfish caviar and Aloha IPA
