The map holds a lot of good loot for anyone willing to explore, andthe Pargrun Caches are one of the better places to find it. Pargrun Caches are locations marked on the map where the Pargrunen — the occupants of Solace Keep — have stored some valuable items. There’s at least one unique item in each of these caches, so it’s worth seeking them out either to find strong items to use or valuable ones to sell or disassemble.

Unlike other collectibles such as Ancient Memories in or Starmetal, no specific quest will tip you off to the existence of Pargrun Caches. Instead, you’ll need to stumble upon them and find your way inside to get what they have stored. There are also usually some puzzles inside that you’ll need to solve to grab the loot. Once you find a cache, it will be labeled on your map. They can be a little non-descript from the outside, so you may already have stumbled upon some; it’s worth checking your map to see.

To get to the Pargrun Cache in Dawnshore, you’ll want to fast travel to the Overgrown Expanse Party Camp. This is one of the first camps you will likely find in the game, since it is right near The Strangleroot where one of the first quests takes place. In camp, you’ll see a bridge to the east heading over a river. Take it, and you will see a stone structure in front of you with several red explosive barrels surrounding the outside. This is the Pargrun Cache.

This Cache is one of the easier ones to loot because there aren’t really any puzzles inside. Just shoot the barrels outside to create an entrance in the wall.
