Twisted Metal had no right to be as fun as it was. The television series adaptation was a barrel of laughs, and unsurprisingly was picked up for a second season after performing well above expectations.
And here’s your first taste of the new series, which brings the story back to its original inspiration.
For those of you who didn’t watch the first season (spoilers!), delivery driver John Doe (Anthony Mackie) was manipulated into thinking he was about to earn the perfect lifestyle, only to end up entered into the Twisted Metal tournament. And now it’s time for said tournament to take place.

The new trailer shows off a bunch of characters, including Calypso. It’ll debut on Peacock this summer, and we can’t wait to tune in.

What is it with Playstation announcing all the good stuff the day after the State of Play? First the Astro Bot update and now this, I'm expecting Bloodborne Remastered by 6 pm tonight.

To be honest, at least it always gives us new stuff to write about.
