Palia Adds a Bunch of New, Free Customization Options, Including For Existing Characters
Palia has added a series of new, free character customization options, added Starstones to mining nodes, raised some housing limits, and more quality of life additions and improvements.
Part of the community's feedback has been requesting new customization options, particularly ones that are accessible to all… At Jel’s shop, you now have the option to change character options including body type, skin tone, eye color, and face type. This patch also adds eight new skin tone options, 16 new faces, and 14 more eye colors. Make any changes here, there will be a one-week cooldown that resets around 8pm PT on Sunday/ 4 AM UTC Monday.
The wardrobe also gets a number of new free customization options, including 11 hairstyles, eight more hair colors, nine new facial hair options, and three new glasses to choose from.
The Singularity 6 team has been talking about bringing new options in response to feedback, and here they are.
Recently,they unveiled Starstones, a system based on Palian astrology. Starstones are now dropping from mining nodes. Starstones are categorized by type and rarity, with all of themselling for gold, and the rare ones selling for a lot of gold. You could consider gifting them to a villager, particularly if that stone matches their Star Path. If you do this, you might even get some extra dialogue lines.
In another requested change, building limits have been raised. The total placeable items has been raised from 2,000 to 3,000 and the limit for housing add-ons has been doubled from 15 to 30. You can even put multiple main houses on the same plot.
