Nothing is making something. The company founded by ex-OnePlus leader Carl Pei said today that its Phone (1) will launch on Tuesday, July 12, in a livestream to be broadcast at 11 a.m. ET.

The phone will have a translucent case that shows the circuitry and components inside, according to an article in the magazine Wallpaper(Opens in a new window). Wallpapers, widgets, and sounds will also be customized to give the device a unique feel.
Pei hasn't released much in terms of tech specs on the Phone (1), except to say that it will run a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
Nothing has committed to launches(Opens in a new window) with O2, Deutsche Telekom, and Flipkart, covering Europe and India. So far, there's no word on a US launch, although a tie-up with DT
