Nothing Phone (1) is on the horizon, waiting to be revealed to the world of smartphone fanatics. The company has already revealed a lot of details about its first smartphone – right from how it looks to where you can buy it, and how to get your hands on it. The invite-only pre-order system may be great for Nothing but frustrating for fans who have been wanting to buy the phone as and when it launches. Nothing seems to be doing something about it and based on the latest rumours, it seems you may be able to buy it offline too.
Based on recent rumours from tipster Yogesh Brar, it is said that the Nothing Phone (1) will also be sold offline via Reliance Digital alongside Flipkart. Nothing is yet to reveal anything on this front but we expect the details to be revealed at the July 12 launch event. Note that the Nothing Phone (1) pre-orders will be going live soon and there is an invite system that allows only limited customers to buy the phone once pre-orders go live.
It remains to be seen whether offline sales via Reliance Digital will also be eligible for the company’s invite-based system. There is a possibility that once the company is able to produce enough stocks, it could start selling the phone the normal way via offline and online distribution channels. Nothing has already clarified that stocks of the Phone (1) will be available in limited numbers.
The tipster, in the 91Mobiles report, also reveals certain specifications regarding the Nothing Phone (1). He says that the phone will have a 16MP selfie camera at the front, while the rear camera setup will consist of a 50MP main camera and a 16MP secondary camera. The system will be powered by a 4500mAh battery and will come with a 45W fast wired charging solution.
