The much-hyped Nothing Phone (1) launch is tomorrow! The buzz around the smartphone started because of its transparent design and the exciting Glymph interface at the back. It is also the first smartphone from Carl Pei’s company, Nothing. Over the last few months, there have been a number of promises made around Nothing Phone (1). Teasers and leaks have all contributed to drawing a picture of what this first Nothing phone is going to be. More recently, a leak even tipped the Nothing Phone (1)’s price, which is expected to be around Rs. 34,999 in India. At this price range, there is a slew of other mid-range smartphones that dominate the market. Here are some smartphones that Nothing Phone (1) is all set to rival. Apple’s most affordable 5G smartphone can’t be neglected when it comes to the mid-range smartphone segment. Though it is priced slightly higher than the expected starting price of the Nothing Phone (1), but how can we forget, the iPhone SE 3 packs the latest flagship A15 Bionic chipset. And its smaller display in front of the huge display sized smartphones is enough to catch eyeballs. It is a small phone with performance specs of a biggie- it packs quite a punch.

Earlier this year, Oppo introduced its Reno 7 series with flamboyant colour changing design that too with breathing lights around the camera hump on its Pro version. Plus, camera performance of both Oppo Reno 7 (priced at Rs. 28,999) and Reno 7 Pro (priced at Rs. 39,999) left us impressed.

In this space, Nothing is taking a step forward by introducing customisable LED light trails interface on the transparent back. Will it bring camera performance like
