Oppo Reno 8 series is finally here in India! In an event named OPPOverse, the company has unveiled four new products today - the Oppo Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, its first ever tablet in India dubbed Oppo Pad Air, and its new Enco X2 wireless earbuds. This latest mid to premium-range smartphone series, the Reno 8 was earlier introduced in China. And now, it is in the markets of India. It packs the MariSilicon X technology which is designed to boost the low-light image processing on the smartphone. Know what this new camera-specific smartphone series has to offer.
Oppo introduced its Reno 7’s successor - the Oppo Reno 8 series in two avatars, the vanilla Oppo Reno 8 and its meatier version Oppo Reno 8 Pro. The standard Reno 8 packs the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset while the Reno 8 Pro runs the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max. However, both smartphones have an in-display fingerprint scanner as well as the 80W Supervooc charging support. Oppo claims that it can charge your phone to 50 percent in just 11 minutes! The Reno 8 features a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, while Oppo Reno 8 pro has a 6.7-inch large display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Talking about its main highlight, the cameras, then the Oppo Reno 8 Pro brings a triple camera setup led by a 50MP primary camera accompanied by an 8 ultra-wide and a 2MP macro lens at the back. It also has a 32 MP selfie camera. For video enthusiasts, it supports the 4K ultra night video option.
Oppo Reno 8 comes at a starting price of Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option to go on sale from July 25 while the Reno 8 Pro is priced at Rs. 45,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version. However, the Pro version will go on sale from July 19.
