After a slew of teases from Sean Murray, the latest No Man's Sky update has finally arrived for players to dive into.
The developers at Hello Game have consistently provided new updates, with each of them adding new content, mechanics, and features to the title for players to enjoy.
Fractal, also called update 4.1, has introduced a brand new expedition titled Utopia Expedition, which will start shortly after the update's release. In the said expedition, players will be working for the Utopia Foundation, which is attempting to "rebuild the planets of an abandoned solar system."
The expedition will provide No Man's Skyplayers with the following rewards for their efforts - "a set of unique posters; a buildable holographic friend statue; an exclusive new helmet customisation; an exclusive new robotic drone companion; and the brand-new Utopia Speeder class starship."
The latest update has added a new Catalogue section called Wonders, which will list players' notable discoveries, planetary extremes, and unusual objects that they encounter during their exploration. With update 4.1, No Man's Sky players on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation will also be able to enable motion-sensor-based gyro controls.
With patch 4.1, No Man's Sky is now completely supported on the PSVR 2. Furthermore, Nexus missions are now available for Nintendo Switch No Man's Sky players. The latest update has also brought a plethora of quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, visual enhancements, and more.
Without further ado, here are the complete patch notes for No Man's Sky Fractal update 4.1.
