No Man's Sky's Fractal update introduced a wealth of new features for the game, which focused heavily on improving the experience for players on PS VR2 and Switch, while also expanding on some of the game's existing features.
Though some of the more recent major updates for No Man's Sky haven't been favored by all veteran fans of the game, they have undoubtedly made the game accessible to countless new players around the world. This is perhaps most evident with 2022's Waypoint update, which coincided with the launch of No Man's Sky for the Switch and introduced even more new content, which helped to bring fresh faces to the community. The game's Fractal update, released on all platforms during February, continued to build on the game's existing mechanics while also bringing support for PS VR2, launching a new expedition, and more.
