One area that Samsung continues to compromise on is the available RAM for its flagship Galaxy smartphones. The company’s peak moment was with the Galaxy S20 Ultra when the Korean giant introduced a 16GB RAM option. Unfortunately, its successors have all been limited to 12GB RAM for one reason or another, and for the upcoming Galaxy S24 family, which is scheduled to launch early next year, one tipster claims that history will repeat itself.
Where Samsung’s competitors are churning out flagships with a whopping 24GB of RAM, with the latest member of that club being the OnePlus 12, Ice Universe’s latest post reveals that Samsung continues to hold its lineup back in the specifications department. As for the top-end version, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Samsung has apparently chosen to limit it to 12GB RAM too, which may end up cannibalizing its sales, especially because now, the Galaxy S24 Plus will come with that option too.
