This has been discussed to death, but I don't think it's greedy on Sony's part to raise PlayStation prices. I don't like it, and it has certainly hurt my ability to buy games at launch, but that doesn't make it greedy.
Looking at game prices in general this price raise taken over the course of two decades or something since the last real price hike, makes it very much in line with inflation and other costs. So, they aren't more greedy than they were before.
You could then argue that Nintendo doesn't do or need it. That would be a fair point, were it not that the type of games PlayStation make, require a higher budget. So taking that in account, I think both Nintendo and Sony actually have pretty accurate pricing of their products. I wouldn't call it in anyway greedy.
This is coming from someone whose main hobbies are going to concerts, clubs and festivals (entrance prices more than doubled over the last decade alone), loves board games too (prices more than doubled too) and is aware of their groceries spendings (40% increase). So pretty much all my spending has gone up by a lot, except video games.
And I get it, cost of living had gone up, some struggle even paying their rent, so every euro you spend extra could be significant. Point that I'm making is not that 10 euro or dollar isn't a lot of money, but that PlayStation and Nintendo (and Microsoft as well) just aren't greedy companies compared to other publishers, and also other sectors.
What I do like about Sony vs Nintendo is that if my budget is down, I am given a choice to invest later when there has been a price decrease. And I also love the choice of PS Extra, without it I wouldn't have been able to try Forbidden West. For Switch, I know there's no other way than
