A bunch of new safety/privacy Instagram features have just been introduced for all users. The meta owned photo sharing app has brought a new addition, ‘Your Activity’ feature, for its users to make it easier to delete posts, comments, and other activity from the platform in bulk as a part of its Safer Internet Day initiatives. Instagram app has given the users more account controls by allowing them to delete Instagram comments and posts in bulk. The company has shared the info through a tweet, “We’re rolling out ‘Your Activity,’ a new experience for people to see and manage their IG activity in one place. People can bulk manage (delete, archive) their content (posts, stories, IGTV and Reels), their interactions (comments, likes, story sticker reactions, etc.) and more.”
Users can go to the Your activity tab on their profile and delete or archive all of the content including posts, Stories, IGTV, and Reels as well as comments, likes, story sticker reactions, etc. Not only this, users will also be able to filter their content and interactions by date and see their past comments, likes, and stories replies between specific dates in the Your Activity tab.
Moreover, the current rollout will enable Instagram users to find recently archived or deleted content, access search history, view the links you've visited, along with the amount of time you've spent on the platform. You can even download your information. This has removed the hassle of manually wading through every single post to view or delete them.
To access Your Activity, you just need to go to your profile and tap on the menu section available in the upper right corner, where you will find all these options.
