Peter Parker has been to many places in the Marvel Universe, and a recently discovered Marvel’s Spider-Man glitch has the heroic web-slinger suddenly fall into the Mirror Dimension made famous by Doctor Strange. This inverted plane of reality is shown off quite frequently during Doctor Strange’s appearances in the MCU, as the gifted neurosurgeon-turned-Sorcerer Supreme regularly transports himself and his enemies there to avoid causing harm in the real world. Peter Parker himself would be briefly whisked to the Mirror Dimension during the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, when he temporarily finds himself at odds with Doctor Strange after a spell sends several villains from past Spider-Man films into the MCU.
While neither Doctor Strange nor his Mirror Dimension have appeared in Marvel’s Spider-Man, Insomniac included his Sanctum Sanctorum as one of the many iconic Marvel locations that players can take pictures of in exchange for Landmark Tokens to upgrade Spidey’s equipment and unlock new costumes. Meanwhile, a Marvel’s Spider-Man player once came across a technical glitch that resembled one of Doctor Strange’s portals while battling criminals in the open world of New York City. Though this player wasn’t able to jump inside this glitch-induced portal in Marvel’s Spider-Man, another fan recently found themselves transported to an alternate magical reality all the same.
