While it might be hard for some gamers to believe, Halo Infinite has been out for over 2 months now. Unfortunately, several problems have cropped up since its release, threatening to ruin the gameplay experience for many. While 343 Industries has already shipped several patches to address these problems, it appears even more help is on the way.
In a post on the Halo Waypoint forum, fans received a glimpse of an upcoming mid-season update for Halo Infinite. According to 343 Industries, this patch is expected to release on Thursday, February 24. In addition, it looks to address issues with Halo Infinite's multiplayer and the campaign in hopes of improving the gameplay experience for players.

Among the highlights of the upcoming update are improvements to networking and stability for players in multiplayer lobbies. Based on the forum post, fixes for rubberbanding, specifically around vehicles and vehicle debris, are expected to be seen. In addition, it was noted that the update aims to collect more data to help the developers resolve latency issues that cause players to be shot even after rounding corners. Beyond these changes, it was also revealed that 343 Industries is implementing several improvements to the anti-cheat system in Halo Infinite.
Besides these fixes, the developer revealed that several improvements to the campaign would be coming with the release of this mid-season update. Problems pertaining to Achievements not working as intended are expected to be resolved.
