Don't look now, but it's been almost four years since fans last saw a Deadpool movie. That seems so weird given how well-received and financially profitable that movie franchise has been since it began in 2016. Hopefully fans won't be deprived for much longer, as it appears Ryan Reynolds won't have to hold his articulate tongue for much further.
Reynolds, whose comedic stardom has only risen since Deadpool was released with acclaimed comedies like Detective Pikachuand Free Guy, gave some possible hints about what the future holds for movies starring the merc with the mouth. Overall, it may not have been much, but hey, something is better than nothing.

Reynolds kept it brief when asked about Deadpool 3 during a conversation with Collider. “We pretty much talk about everything, but I'll say this about that particular subject is I'll have a batch of updates on that sooner rather than later, I hope," Reynolds said. «So I'll be able to get into stuff about Deadpool a little bit more clearly and definitively down the road.”
Even if the details remain unclear, there could be understandable reasons as to why Deadpool 3 is still in the developmental stage. Anyone with a sound mind would assume that the pandemic's impact probably hindered a lot of film productions, so, given how long it's been, it's safe to say that the Deadpool franchise was probably one of them. Plus, it may be proving difficult to integrate Deadpool into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In all honesty, there really shouldn't be any rush to produce a third Deadpool movie. People are now hopefully and finally moving past this awful pandemic once and for all. Getting back to normal life at one hundred
