The Pokemon Company and Nintendo released the initial Pokemon games way back in 1996 and have reached new fans who have joined the series with each game that has been released since then. Pokemon has inspired countless fans over the years to create unique fan art, formulate perfect strategies for the difficult battles, and comprise their favorite teams of the many Pokemon encountered along the way.
Recently, Reddit user Mishianh shared their fan art that combines two popular anime, seamlessly blending characters from Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away with the Pokemon universe. Several Pokemon are represented in the fan art that highlights some Spirited Away characters, and the overall aesthetic shares the most similarities with Hayao Miyazaki's 2001 film. There are seven main Pokemon represented in the fan art, and more are cleverly hidden around the room. In addition, even the most notable Spirited Away character even features some Pokemon Key Stone jewelry.
Pokemon Fan Creates Crystal Onix Figure
A green shirt-wearing Pokemon trainer sharing some resemblance with Chihiro from Spirited Away sits across an obvious depiction of Zeniba from the animated movie at a long table in Mishianh's fan art. In the background are two Bellossom hanging on the wall and a cheerful Politoed sitting on a bookshelf, while tea is seemingly poured from one Polteageist into two Sinistea's. Sitting at the table next to the Pokemon trainer is a combination of Cofagrigus and Yamask, which portray the Spirited Away character No-face, while on the table eating some biscuits are Murkrow and Skowvet.
Each new main Pokemon title, like Scarlet and Violet, comes with a new generation of Pokemon to capture, and there are many represented in Mishianh's fan art.
