If it ain't broke don't fix it. At least, it seems that's what Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy believe. After working on both Free Guy and The Adam Project together, evidently, the two have developed a sense of trust between each other because they're going to work together again. So much so that they reportedly will be collaborating for the next installment in the Deadpool movie franchise.
The Hollywood Reporter reported that Levy is now slated to direct the upcoming film Deadpool 3, which of course is going to star Reynolds as the titular character. Levy is the third director to be behind the camera, as the first installment was directed by Tim Miller and the second one directed by David Leitch. Along with Levy and Reynolds, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who wrote the scripts for the first two films, are slated to return as screenwriters.

Besides that, not a lot of details have been revealed for the upcoming film as of now. It would be safe to presume that they will probably bring back characters that were in the first two films, most namely Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), Stefan Kapicic (Colossus), Briana Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), and Karan Sony (Blind Al). Given the bad press TJ Miller has received over the last few years, he probably won't return as Weasel. Considering the excellent additions that they were in the second film, it wouldn't shock anyone if they brought back Josh Brolin (Cable) and Zazie Beetz (Domino) as well.
