Deadpool 3 hasn't even started filming yet, but more details for Deadpool 3 continue to surface online. Now, Ryan Reynolds has hinted at fan favorite character Blind Al returning for the highly-anticipated third entry.
Played by Leslie Uggams, Blind Al is an elderly but feisty blind woman and Deadpool's(Reynolds) roommate, who she shares a love/hate relationship with. The character made her first live-action appearance in 2016's Deadpool and returned in 2018's Deadpool 2.

Uggams shared her reaction to Reynolds' recently-released Netflix science fiction adventure film The Adam Project on Twitter. In response, Reynolds wrote, "«Thank you, Leslie. See you soon,» followed by three sword emojis. Now for those who do not know, the sword emojis are clearly a nod to Deadpool's blades named Bea and Arthur, a nod toThe Golden Girls actor Bea Arthur.
Even with Deadpool 3 expected to take place in the MCU — a cinematic universe that has not expanded to R-rated films so far — it appears that the film will keep the franchises' key elements now with Uggams' return. The character shares several scenes with Reynolds involving plenty of explicit trash talk and witty one-liners. In addition, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has also confirmed the upcoming film will remain rated R, which opens the doors to many possibilities for what can occur in the shared universe.
While any casting news is of course exciting, much of the attention for the film has been on director Shawn Levy being hired to helm Deadpool 3.
