Ryan Reynolds' kids get confused when they see his kissing scenes. The Canadian actor was best known for an array of romantic comedies before he finally reached his full potential with theX-Men spinoff movies Deadpool and Deadpool 2, his career-defining role. Reynolds is now coming off another banner year in which he starred in Free Guy, the box office sleeper hit directed by Shawn Levy, and Netflix's star-studded caper movie, Red Notice. In 2022, the star wasted little time before delivering another hit.
Reynolds has now re-teamed with Levy for The Adam Project, which debuted last week on Netflix and has been garnering rave reviews for its Spielbergian quality. In the film, Reynolds plays the titular Adam, a pilot who goes back in time to uncover the truth behind the disappearance of his wife, Laura (played by Zoe Saldaña), and encounters a younger version of himself (played by Walker Scobell). The Adam Project opened to the third-highest debut ever for a Netflix original movie. In the wake of this success, Reynolds and other cast members have continued promoting the film.
