New Elden Ring Bug Causes Gideon to Die Extremely Fast

Elden Ring is filled with powerful enemies that players must face, and many gamers can attest to the might that some foes wield and the number of times they have died to them. Elden Ring has some incredibly difficult enemies and does not hold back when it comes to the adversaries that players will take on, many of which will send them to the game over screen multiple times.

Sometimes those enemies are affected by the bugs found in Elden Ring that can take battles in a number of ways and make them harder or easier for the player. One gamer uncovered a glitch that made one of the game's bosses a bit easier to take on.

A Redditor known as TheGreatZephyrical shared a clip of them taking on Sir Gideon Ofnir The All-Knowing in Elden Ring. The video shows the player enter the boss arena with an ally and immediately cast the spell Frenzy Burst against the enemy, which does reasonable damage. TheGreatZephyrical then casts the spell again, and automatically kills Gideon with it. While many agree that the encounter is considered an easy one, the amount of damage that was done with a shot of Frenzy Burst was much higher than it should have been.

Some users questioned whether the clip TheGreatZephyrical uploaded actually showed a bug due to the low difficulty of the Elden Ring boss, but the player states that they have used the spell on Gideon before and that it didn't do that much damage. One commenter jokes that the amount of knowledge that Gideon possesses caused his head to explode from the madness that Frenzy Burst causes. One user says that they could be told that Gideon was two-shotted with a piece of celery and would still believe it to not be a bug.
