The mystery of what Ms. Marvel’s bangles are is being dragged out to the end of the season, yet the answer to it feels so obvious. Over the course of the show’s story, Kamala Khan has learned quite a lot about who she really is, but the origin of the bangles is one thing that’s being kept under wraps. What they are is a reveal that Ms. Marvel appears to be holding back, presumably for its final episode.
The bangles are at the center of Ms. Marvel’s story because they’re what drives its most important change and ultimately what’s making her superhero journey possible. Instead of keeping her Inhuman origin from the comic books, the Disney+ series has swapped her original powers for the bangle, which has triggered latent abilities that Kamala never knew she had. With it, she can generate blasts of “hard light” and essentially serve as Marvel’s answer to Green Lantern. Later episodes revealed that the bangle gives Kamala access to energy from a mystical realm known as the Light Dimension.

The show has offered some big reveals about the bracelet's capabilities, but its true name, who made it, what its purpose is, and how it connects to Marvel Comics haven’t been properly addressed yet. How Ms. Marvel has been slowly building up to these explanations is rather interesting, especially since the comic books make the answer to this mystery seem so easy to figure out.
