Wordle 393: July 17, 2022 Hints & Answer
July 17th has a new Wordle for all fans of the once-a-day word guessing game, and today's puzzle shouldn't be too much of a threat to players' long-standing win streaks. For those who prefer a harder challenge Wordle does provide a Hard Mode that can be activated through the options menu. This mode forces players to use previously given hints by locking out letters that have been proven incorrect and forcing usage of letters proven correct. This is a great method for lowering the number of guesses it takes to get a Wordle answer correct since the player has to use more critical thinking and not rely on random words that just get a lot of popular letters out of the way.

If players are looking for an even more difficult challenge they may want to turn to the increasing number of Wordle copycats. Quordle is one that stands out the most by having players complete four Wordle puzzles at the exact same time, each guess is pushed into the four different games and players must balance which game they are attempting at anytime or suffer losing them all at once. Other notable copycats are Heardle, which is a one-note-at-a-time song guessing game, or Squabble, which turns Wordle into a battle royale-type game.
