Mahershala Ali will play the titular vampire hunter, which was announced at Comic-Con back in 2019.
This announcement was made at roughly the same time as a new She-Hulk trailer dropped, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was announced as the end of Phase 4 of the MCU, Daredevil is getting a new TV show, there's a Thunderbolts movie in the works, and others.
Marvel's 2022 Comic-Con experience will always be remember for the sheer amount of new announcements made during a one-hour presentation.
